Cool Stuff Coming Up

Just some events we think you (yes, YOU) might find groovy.

Bold Strokes Bookfest in Nottingham, England 2013 will be happening the weekend of June 8 (or, for our European/UK/Aussie/NZ/non-US people, 8 June). Check it out.

The Virtual Livingroom is devoting the weekend of May 24-26 (24-26 May for all you non-US folks…heh) to romance and romance authors, in their Spot-On. The group authors who will be hanging out in the VLR to take your questions (and you’ll have to join if you’re not a member — don’t freak out. It’s not hard. It’s a Yahoo group) includes: Susan X. Meagher, Julie Cannon, and Diana Simmonds (AWESOME! Her stuff is back in print by Bella!). Here’s the link to the VLR, where you can sign up if you’re not already a member.

Left Coast Lesfic Conference, in Palm Springs in October! (full disclosure: I, Andi, will be keynoting it) Readers, writers, fun! There’s a bunch of different panels and workshops, and hanging out with authors and readers from that part of the country. Come on down! Here’s the Facebook page.

Book Fiesta in the Manzanitas, September 14: This is right outside Albuquerque. Join me (Andi Marquette), Lynn Ames, Karen Badger, Bett Reece Johnson, Barrett, and Nat Burns for a Saturday in the mountains outside ABQ for readings, discussions, and a grill-out. For reals!
