Andi Marquette was born in Albuquerque and grew up in Colorado. After a couple of academic degrees, she wandered back to Albuquerque and completed a Ph.D. in history. She fell into editing in 1993 and has been obsessed with words ever since. That may or may not be a good thing. She currently resides in Colorado, where she edits, writes, and cultivates her strange obsession with New Mexico chile.
She writes New Mexico-based mysteries and science fiction (and yes, she also writes short stories!) and she is also the co-editor (with R. G. Emanuelle) of the anthology Skulls and Crossbones: Tales of Women Pirates.
You can follow Andi on Twitter (Andimarquette) and Facebook, to keep up on what she’s up to.

When is the sequel to High Places coming out? I really enjoyed that book the most of all of Andi’s.
Well, Hi, Lyn! It’s out NOW! WOOOOO!
